I’m Eileen, a voice over artist working with companies and individuals who seek a versatile voice that can bring their vision to life.
As someone who has been creating voices and singing since I can remember and has a background in production in the voice over industry as well as a M.S. in speech-language pathology, I approach every session with a depth of understanding, passion and professionalism for the work. Being a voice over actor is fun and exciting but the bottom line to be efficient and do a good job, I get that, too!
I moved to NYC to be an actor.
There are endless opportunities to be one.
I’ve acted (wrote and performed my one-woman show), worked in theater (The Public and Theater for a New Audience) and TV production (Entertainment Weekly)…but a job in a recording studio is how I got into the voice-over world. A snowstorm gave me the opportunity to fill in for the singing role of 10 year-old boy and a last minute audition led to my first lead in a Japanese anime. With voiceovers, the opportunity to be someone or something else, there really are no limits. It’s an acting niche that I hadn’t even considered…until I did. And in 2008, I decided to pursue VO full time and haven’t looked back.
A client working in education recently asked about whether I could do a certain accent and then said, “I’m under the impression you can do most anything.” Well, maybe not everything, but I definitely try! I work on commercials, cartoons, record audiobooks, promos, in education, and more….
